4 rules for Beverage Etiquette

1. NEVER chew ice at the table.
2. Iced Tea: When served a lemon wedge with iced tea, water, or soda, cup your hands in front of the lemon as you are squeezing it into your glass.
3. Coffee: Coffee should only be requested after the main course has been cleared and before dessert is offered.
4. Alcoholic Beverages: If requesting a beer, ask for a glass. If discussing business during the meal or after, wait until the business discussion is over before ordering.
